Michael Cordray is a restoration professional and television personality known for Restoring Galveston and his work with Ashley Cordray through Save 1900. Their public story centres on rescuing neglected older homes in Galveston, Texas, and giving those buildings another useful life.
His profile makes more sense when it starts with the work. In their own account, the Cordrays describe looking beyond a building’s condition to the history and materials worth preserving. Television brings that work to a wider audience, but their company’s website also offers a direct account of the people behind it.

What Is Save 1900?
On the official Save 1900 website, Michael and Ashley describe a shared commitment to saving homes that might otherwise be demolished. They also discuss reusing discarded materials and searching for older architectural pieces.
Their approach is about more than creating a polished room. They frame each property as a place with a story, including modest cottages as well as larger houses. For a reader coming from the television show, that explains why an ordinary-looking building can become a worthwhile project.
What Does Michael Cordray Do?
A 2017 blog post written by Ashley describes Michael handling real-estate work alongside practical jobs on their properties. Her account includes carpentry, painting, tiling, collecting supplies and managing the less glamorous cleanup tasks.
It is a useful first-person source, but also a historical one. A description of their business in 2017 should not be read as a complete list of current services, professional credentials or responsibilities. Readers seeking to hire the company should check its current contact and real-estate information.
Michael and Ashley Cordray’s Marriage
Ashley’s account gives their wedding date as April 4, 2014. She describes making arrangements at short notice, marrying locally and leaving for a honeymoon soon afterward.
That direct account is stronger evidence for the date than an unattributed biography table. It also provides a glimpse of their partnership before many viewers knew them through television. The article’s personal tone makes clear that Ashley is writing about her own experience rather than providing a formal company history.
Why Viewers Know Him From Restoring Galveston
Magnolia Network lists Restoring Galveston among the former DIY Network favourites available through its programming. The show connects the Cordrays’ preservation work with a broader audience interested in home restoration.
Watching a restoration on screen and commissioning one are different experiences. A television episode presents a selected account of a project; it should not be used on its own to estimate the cost, timing or condition of another historic home.
Michael Cordray’s Age and Net Worth
Online profiles attach precise ages and wealth estimates to Cordray, but this profile does not have enough verified evidence to present those figures as established facts. A television credit or a portfolio of property projects does not reveal someone’s personal assets, debts or income.
The most dependable introduction remains his documented public work: restoring houses, collaborating with Ashley and sharing those projects through Save 1900 and television.
